NICHOLAS NORTON

Nick Norton is a 27 year law enforcement veteran, retiring with the rank of Lieutenant from the Westfield, NJ Police Department. During his career, he also served with the Union County Prosecutor's Office Narcotic Strike Force and Union County Emergency Response and SWAT Team. He has vast experience investigating crimes and offenses of all nature, as well as serious and fatal crash related investigations. He has participated in investigations which have included telephonic interceptions, wire taps, surveillance, tracking and the interception of verbal conversations. He has also operated in an undercover capacity and has experience with informants and non-criminal co-conspirators. His experience and training has guided him in techniques of interview and interrogation, statement taking, case preparation and court room testimony. He is very familiar with the criminal justice system on a municipal and state level. He has received numerous commendations for his police actions, all while developing a reputation as an extremely honest and dedicated investigator. He continues to do such today while operating in the private sector. In addition to his police training and the many schools and seminars that he attended, he is a graduate of Kean University, graduating Magna Cum Laude.

DONALD ZSAK

Don Zsak is a twenty five year police veteran retiring with the rank of Detective First Grade from the Cranford Police Department. During his police career he served with various law enforcement agencies including Union and Essex County Prosecutors Offices, the United States Drug Enforcement Agency and the Federal Bureau of Investigation. During the majority of his police career he operated in an undercover capacity, during which he participated in numerous cases involving negotiations and purchases of narcotics, guns and stolen property. He has prepared expert reports for the state and has testified as an expert witness in narcotics in Superior Court. He also has a strong background in investigating crimes of violence, homicide, robbery, kidnapping, aggravated assaults, gun violations, arson and sexual assaults. He has also been an affiant in wire tap investigations, RICO investigations involving gangs and organized crime violations, crimes of the Hobbs Act and Trigger Locks. He is a highly decorated detective who has received numerous commendations from the Cranford Police Department along with the Union County and Essex County Prosecutors Office, The New Jersey Honor Legion, The New Jersey Narcotics Officers Association, and both the FBI and DEA. He has a vast amount of experience in developing and utilizing confidential informants and the regulations pertaining to such.  He is experienced in interview and interrogation, statement taking, rules of evidence and court room testimony. He has  arrested over 2500 violators of state and federal law and has developed a reputation as an honest and dedicated detective. He maintains an outstanding personnel record and an extremely high conviction rate. Zsak recieved his college education at Upsala College.
